Automobile Accident - Route 9D |

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010 the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company was called to Route 9D for an automobile accident.
Upon arrival, two vehicles were found heavily damaged.
GVFC provided traffic control while Putnam County Sheriff conducted their investigation.
Garrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps rendered aid to the drivers of both vehicles and transported them to Hudson Valley Hospital Center.
According to the Sheriff's department, the accident was caused due to one vehicle loosing control due to icy pavement.
