Automobile Accident - Route 9D & Snake Hill Road

June 11, 2009

On a rainy morning, the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company was called to Route 9D and Snake Hill Road for a three vehicle automobile accident. Upon arrival, Cold Spring 13-1-2 was already on scene assisting the injured. Upon the arrival of 15-1-3 it was determined that no extrication of the drivers was needed. The Garrison and Philipstown Volunteer Ambulance Corps both responded for medical support. Scene safety and traffic control was established so EMS and the towing company can perform their duties. One patient was transported to Westchester County Medical Center and two others were sent to Hudson Valley Hospital Center.

Units responding: 15-1-3, 15-2-2, 15-6-1
Mutual Aid: Cold Spring 13-1-2, Garrison VAC, Philipstown VAC, New York State Police
